A Project in Motion, St. Louis, MO

Your story.Permanent proof.

Trauma Ink is a mobile tattoo studio and documentary series, built for people ready to turn what happened to them into something they chose. We're building this now, and looking for the people who want to help shape it.

Trauma Ink was founded on a simple idea: the body can hold both the mark of what happened to you and the mark of what you did about it, and that story is worth telling, not just wearing. We pair a mobile tattoo studio with a documentary series, so the healing and the record of it happen together.

Two Pillars, One Story

The Idea

01, The Studio

A mobile tattoo studio, trauma-informed from the ground up, with consent, confidentiality and pacing built into every session.

02, The Documentary

A documentary series capturing the stories behind the sessions, for participants who choose to share theirs.
